Service PlansWe offer select customers four levels of service plans so there is coverage suited to every situation. Whether your heating system is old or new, Peterson has you covered with preventive maintenance and the option to protect yourself against potential repair costs. For more details on the plans, including the general terms and conditions, please read our Residential Customer Information Handbook. (Note: Some of our helpful Payment Plans provide discounts on service plans.)
• Ultimate Service PlanThe Ultimate plan is our best and most comprehensive program. You never pay for a service or a repair due to mechanical failure, even if the boiler, furnace or oil tank requires replacement. Your annual tune-up is included, and all parts and labor are covered. You'll incur charges only if we need to bring your installment up to code. • Deluxe Service PlanThe perfect plan for newer boilers, the Deluxe covers any service that may be required due to mechanical failure of essential components of the heating system and domestic water piping within a few feet of the boiler. This valuable plan also includes the annual tune-up, service calls during normal business hours and even one emergency after-hours call. We do not recommend this plan for warm-air systems (furnaces). • Primary "A/G" Service PlanThe "A" stands for annual tune-up. The "G" is for tune-ups based on a gallons-used interval. (Manufacturers of modern equipment often recommend tune-ups after each 1,500 to 2,000 gallons of usage.) These plans cover the oil burning and safety components of the system and include periodic or annual maintenance and repairs to the covered parts during regular business hours.
